Sept. 26, 2016 — Nestled along Slaughter Creek and hidden from the Chesapeake Bay by Taylors Island, sits an almost 300-acre property with over two miles of coastline that at one time was owned by Clara Bow, a silent movie star in the 1920s. Owned privately for decades, the grounds are now being developed as a retreat for wounded service members and those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
