Stuart Plank co-founded Patriot Point in 2016. He had visited the property with the previous owner and some veterans the year before and when the property came up for sale, he contacted the Military Bowl Foundation with an idea to make the property a full-time operation dedicated to veterans. Together with the Military Bowl Foundation and the Taishoff Family Foundation, Patriot Point was purchased in April of 2016. He serves as one of the managers, overseeing new building construction and growth of the charity. He enjoys time spent meeting with all the veterans, caregivers and families that use the property.
Stuart was born and raised in Kensington, Maryland where he currently resides with his wife, Laura, and two sons, Jack and Casey. He attended Virginia Tech were he earned a B.S. in Building Construction and played football. Professionally, Stuart has over 30 years in residential and commercial development in the Washington, D.C. area.
Stuart has always taken an active role in being a Man for Others and enjoys giving back to his community and veterans that have served our country. He currently is involved with several local charities and has been an Assistant Varsity Football Coach at Georgetown Prep for over 20 years.
