Military Warriors Support Foundation July 18 2019

The Military Warriors Support Foundation is hosting a group of four combat-wounded veterans and their families this week at Patriot Point.

The group includes two U.S. Army veterans and their families and two U.S. Marine Corps veterans and their families. The guests traveled from Kansas City; Fayetteville, N.C.; San Antonio and Dallas.

“Once getting everyone here on Monday, we have been fishing in the Chesapeake Bay for rockfish,” said Dan Robles, MWSF Skills4Life Program Manager. “After that we spent the day relaxing on the farm, with some kids fishing in the small pond or kayaking and swimming.

“Today we woke up and took turns catching some blue crab for tonight’s dinner. Now we are all just hanging out in the Main House playing pool and pinball.

“Tomorrow we plan on checking out the Harriet Tubman Museum and maybe making a trip to Ocean City.”
